The First Birthday Orange

Some people have told me that they assumed the artwork for First Birthday is AI-generated…rip…but it’s all manual fabrication. I made the metal pieces by carving lost wax and casting them in white brass. They were supposed to be hairpins but failed to pin hair, so Sam recommended I shove them in some fruit or the ground instead. In the weeks leading up to the EP release, I was staying at a house in Lake Garda with ~10 friends, but my foot was broken so I stayed home alone one day while everyone went for a bike ride. I wandered the house grounds in my medical boot with Sam’s manual film camera.

The image with the orange is the second photo I took on film because I burned most of it under the Italian sun. How romantic. The original photo is barely edited.
